Brookwood scoop two awards.

The Corporate Responsibility Award recognised Brookwood’s commitment to giving something back and The Unit Manager of the Year Award acknowledged how one of our long serving managers has created an unbreakable bond with a client.

Winning The Corporate Responsibility Award, the judges commended Brookwood for “their multi-disciplinary approach" of our Planet Matters programme "that has been embedded throughout all its working practices”.

The Unit Manager of the Year Award went to one of our long serving Chef Managers, Fred Ockwell. Standing out amongst the 27 nominees received by Cost Sector Catering magazine, the judges praised Fred for “transforming the catering and extending the contract three times during his tenure. They further commented “His focus on homemade products, interesting theme days, and even setting up a wormery to promote sustainability was popular with students and helped double weekly takings”.
