Our History

The Brookwood Partnership was formed as a limited company in 1996 by the founding Partners, Kate Martin, Sue Parfett and Graham Sibthorp. Brookwood has enjoyed a steady and sustained growth over the intervening years, where the company now operates in over 60 independent schools within London and the South East region, with an annual turnover of over £19M.

Our Focus

We produce meals for over 36,000 pupils and staff every school day. Every year, we cater for sports days, summer balls, open days, prize givings, retirement parties and other revenue generating activities, for example weddings, seminars, summer schools and fund raising events, etc.

Our People

The Brookwood Partnership is an “Investor in People” company. We employ some 700 people and carry out an average of 16,000 hours of training every year. Apart from the required statutory training elements of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety, we also ensure that all staff, during their initial period with the company, benefit from induction training, customer service and good food presentation skills. Our Managers and Chefs also cover training in nutrition and menu planning, special diets and allergies, and the Brookwood “Eating for Life” initiative. We provide NVQ and management development training to ensure the opportunity of career enhancement for all personnel.
